Who am I

Hello, I’m Yannick! French-speaking Canadian, based in Quebec City, DXer since the last century (1980). My call sign is 9 Juliett Alfa November 2 4 1.

I have always been fascinated by the idea of communicating with minimal power, even if voice is an interesting approach I have a preference for QRP and CW

Hoping that our paths cross soon during a QSO, good 73 !

Transmitter|Receiver

I operate my station on a fixed basis, using a CRT SUPERSTAR transceiver which covers the 10 and 11 meter bands.

I only traffic on the 11 meter band.

Antennas

I use several antennas when I operate my station.

An inverted V-dipole antenna perched on the roof of the house and a Vector 4000 from Sirio, on a 10-foot mast in my yard back.

All I need is a Quad 2 elements to have fun with a directive and benefit from a high gain.

Here is the list of divisions for the 11 meter band.

Code Country Amateur CQ Zone ITU Zone

Traffic log

As a logbook, I use an application that I developed in HTML, JavaScript and CSS .

I use JSON format for backups. I apply the KISS principle (keep it simple, stupid) in my development approach.
